CAMPS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
Camps at The Butterfly Joint are for children grades Kindergarten and up (NO TK!!!) with a limit of 10-12 students per camp (PLEASE READ INDIVIDUAL CAMP DESCRIPTIONS FOR SPECIFIC GRADE MINIMUMS). Camps range from one-day to week-long programs that run from 9:00am-3:00pm with snack/recess and lunch/recess breaks in Golden Gate Park. We take full advantage of the natural beauty that surrounds the shop so recesses are held at Golden Gate Park, Sutro Heights Park, or Ocean Beach! Along with woodworking skills, The Butterfly Joint focuses on teaching children manners, personal and community responsibility and social justice as well as helping parents reinforce productive social and emotional behaviors for their children.
Campers must bring their own lunch and snacks. We allow nuts and foods that contain nuts as we eat outdoors and at distance for snack and lunch. Children do not share food at camp.

Due to low interest in aftercare during the last several camp sessions, we will only offer aftercare if a minimum of four children are signed up. If you are interested in aftercare, please email make@thebutterflyjoint.com and we will let you know if the minimum has been met.
